This was initiated when I heard the news about Indonesia suffering from natural disasters. I remembered one of my foreign friends that live in Indonesia and I posted on her wall asking how she is and telling her to stay safe, using Bahasa Indonesia.
Example: hati-hati in Filipino is ‘divided among n number of people’ in English (in that sense), while in Bahasa Indonesia it means ‘Be careful’.
Cool neh? Both Bahasa Indonesia and Filipino share some things from Malay so there are a lot of similar words, even though they don’t mean the same thing.

This is actually pretty cool because before you die, your brain releases tons and tons of endorphins that make you feel a range of emotions. This is why when people die, they see things like “a light” and they feel so euphoric.
I will never cease to be amazed at how fragile our lives are.
The part where everything just turns black after that climax of blue, and you see on the side-screen: SUBJECT DECEASED. So sad. So sudden. So unexpected.

A Marine was deployed to Afghanistan. While he was there he received a letter from his girlfriend. In the letter she explained that she had slept with two guys while he had been gone and she wanted to break up with him. AND, she wanted pictures of herself back.
So the Marine did what any squared-away Marine would do. He went around to his buddies and collected all the unwanted photos of women he could find. He then mailed about 25 pictures of women (with clothes and without) to his girlfriend with the following note:
“I don’t remember which one you are. Please remove your picture and send the rest back.”
