Received three job opportunities today..

One was near my dream job when I was younger — working for a game company, specifically a Game Master, which was within my reach before.

The other was just an open house invitation somewhere in Libis where one of my old friends is working.

The third one made me read the message 3x just to make sure they weren’t mistakingly sending the message to someone who’s only entry level. Cause the job description required someone with like 3-5 years of programming experience. And the catch is, they already pre-qualified me.

I was like O.O..
I wonder why.. Too bad Im not looking for a job or am I already a graduate.

This is so beyond me, overwhelming O.O

But I’m rejecting it..

The Mind of a Web Developer

Given a task to create a website from scratch for a politician, how would you design it?

If you really want to be good, here are some things you should do.
Work with one or two good people on significant projects on a regular basis. Find your complement at any cost.
Always have a project to work on. Always. ALWAYS. Even if you’re not working on it Right Now.
Study things that matter. Actually spend time in a quiet room reading, thinking, and working through examples. Study more than the instructor tells you to.
Overachieve on every course project you ever do.
Don’t stay immersed in one monoculture. Experience as much of humanity as you can. You’re going to be the one saving these people, and you won’t know how to save them if you don’t know what they need and how they feel. It will make you a better person.
Ask for things. People like to give them to you and in fact often feel bad when they can’t give you what you want. This goes for jobs, keys, grades, swag, and dates.
Have some confidence. Lack of self confidence is an epidemic among smart programmers, and humanity in general. If you doubt your skills, work on a harder project. When you finish it you’ll be better and you’ll know you can learn. The people you are competing with probably aren’t as good as you’re afraid they are.
Don’t agonize over what “kind” of hacker you are. Figure out who *you* are, and be that.

It might seem weird for everyone else, but this is the first time I’ve encountered such kind of coding.. multiplying a certain element to the number of times you want to print it out - that easily.

Python, I’m liking you alot already =)

programmer-problems:

Hi, guys. :D
I just found an interesting simulation program IBM made. It’s a free simulator that teaches you how to program a robot and simulate it to battle robots made by other people!

Here’s the link: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-robocode/

Learning to code with fun things like this in your spare time is a great way to learn programming languages. Once you get the basics down, you’ll definitely be able to move on into more interesting and challenging projects with code.

Hope this helps some of you.
